7 Prophetic Words for 2021

School Culture

Hello School Leaders! Our team would like to wish you a very happy New Year. We are praying you are full of expectation for what is to come. Our team has taken some time to pray over you and we wanted to encourage you with some prophetic words for the New Year. Take some time to pray through these words and see what the Holy Spirit wants to highlight or add, and share them with your teams as well.God has great things in store!

BSSM School Planting Director, Steve Moore, had this word for you,

“I felt like the word over you for this season was ‘provision’ and I’m not just talking about provision in a financial sense but provision in a heavenly sense. The Lord is going to provide in every area of your lives, relationally, financially, and spiritually. He’s going to provide for buildings, the right people and connections, devine strategies, and downloads of His heart for you and your students.

He is the God who provides, regardless of what is happening on the outside, He is working on the inside on your behalf.

We can only see above the surface but underneath the surface the Lord is coming through in a big and powerful way. He is going to work all things together for your good.

Whether this last season was amazing and filled with momentum or it was filled with toil, struggle and hardship, I believe Romans 8:28 is going to be a staple over your life. Remember, If it’s not good yet, it’s not the end. We love you and believe the radical provision of heaven is going to mark you, your schools and your students this year.”

From our School Planting Project Manager, Adrianna Ramos,

“Schools, what an incredible year you had! We are so proud of the way you have pushed through! I feel like this is a year of jubilee for all of you. A year of rest, celebration, restoration, and refocus on the Lord. This is the year where your weariness will be revived and rivers of life will flow through your bones. Where the dry bones will begin to dance again.

This is the year of celebration – where you will see everything GOOD the Lord has done and is doing. A year of restoration – land being restored, hearts being restored, families being restored, teams being restored, friendships being restored, individuals being restored. A year of refocus on the Lord. Where you will easily be able to look deeply into His eyes and fall in love with Him all over again, and feel His love overwhelm you!”

Payton Belcher, one of our third year students from Texas said,

“I feel like the Lord is coming in on a wind. In this season He’s been pruning the hearts of people, and it’s almost time for Him to blow on through. I feel like the Lord is saying that your schools are the altar you’ve created for Him, and He’s about to blow through on a wind so strong that you can’t miss it! He’s igniting a fire within the body to spread to the world. I feel like Papa is saying to just position your heart to receive and just watch as the glory comes in!”

One of our School Planting Staff, Katy Harris heard this word,

“I felt the Lord’s heart of gratitude for the sacrifice of worship and faith you have given Him in this last year.

I heard Him saying, ‘I’ve seen your sacrifice and I’ll exchange it with divine upgrades.’ 2021 will be a year of upgrades.

I see natural upgrades but spiritual upgrades as well. What the enemy stole in 2020, he will have to pay back in 2021 with interest. Go ahead and make a list of what the enemy owes you and imagine what it would look like to have all of that given back 100-fold. Make plans and watch Him move mountains! He will use what the enemy meant to bring harm to you and turn it around for increase! This year will be filled with provisions for innovation!”

Daniel Ostyn, one of our third year students from Idaho, had this to say,

“The word I’m hearing is that God is giving you a coolant system, like one found on an industrial drill or saw. A drill going through tough material without such a system can heat up quickly and need time to cool down, and the drill bits themselves will wear out more quickly as well.

I feel that God has been increasing your capacity for endurance through every circumstance, but not by just trying harder or “toughing it out.” I feel that He’s building a new type of dependence on the Spirit, such that you are able to both work and rest more effectively. Even as you work you will constantly rest in His ‘coolant’ of peace and joy, allowing you to stay sharp and effective without facing burnout or fatigue. Every blessing on this new year!”

Diane Mol, one of our third years from the Netherlands had this word,

“I heard Isaiah 43:18-19, ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See I’m doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He will do things in you and through you, that you wouldn’t have imagined. He is the God of the breakthrough and you can fully trust Him! I see you and your students on your knees praying, and thanking Him for what’s to come.

I’m also reminded of Proverbs 11:14, ‘Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.‘ School leaders, you will give guidance to your students and be that place of safety for them!”

This word comes from one of our School Planting Staff, David Eberly,

“’Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell Him every detail of your life, then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.’
Phil 4:6-7 (TPT)

One of the main things we can do in this time is both lean in to God for understanding for ourselves, demonstrate it to our students, and help them practice it in their daily lives. This is a lifestyle choice, not a task. I believe 2021 brings an abundant opportunity for growth in encounters with God that bring peace and answers!  Drive forward into peace! Peace is a person in the form of Jesus Christ, not a feeling!”

We pray these words bless you and your teams. We encourage you to write them down, put them where you will see them and remember all that God did in you and through you this year. We love you and we are cheering you on!
