BSSM was built on the belief that one encounter with God changes everything. We are a school associated with Bethel Church, Redding, California. For over 25 years, our heart has been simple: come, learn to fall deeply in love with Jesus, and stay burning for Him in every season of life.
We are here to create space for people to encounter God. Through worship, Scripture, community, serving, and activation, we help you discover what it means to walk with Him for a lifetime.

CAMPUS
SCHOOL
On-Campus School
A year fully given to Jesus on campus in Redding, California. Nine months immersed in the culture of Bethel Church — in live worship, community, and a school built around pursuing His presence together.
Live teaching from BSSM and Bethel leadership, several times a week.
Regular worship together as a school community.
Your small group — where you pray, activate gifts, and grow alongside the same people throughout the year.
Join services, events, and community throughout your time on campus.
Real-life opportunities to practice a supernatural lifestyle inside and outside the classroom.
All on-campus students go on a required mission trip, usually in March or April. Choose from ~80–100 trips locally and globally.

Online School
A flexible structure built around your real life, from anywhere in the world. Same content, same Revival Groups, same community — part-time (11–12 hrs/week) or full-time (20–22 hrs/week).
Main teaching, leadership conversations, and worship happen live each week. Recordings available for most sessions afterward.
Your small group meets live each week — the one required live session. Multiple time slots across time zones.
Bethel staff and leaders on spiritual gifts, business, family, creativity, and more.
Homework, reading, and putting what you've learned into practice at your own pace.
Students from over 100 countries connected by the same pursuit of Jesus.
Optional opportunity for online students to come to Redding for a week of in-person encounter.

BSSM is a ministry training school based at Bethel Church in Redding, California. For over 25 years, it has been a place where people come to encounter God's presence, build a foundation in His love, and be sent back into the world burning for Jesus. Available both on campus and fully online.
First Year is about the development of identity. Second Year is about developing Kingdom understanding in leadership. Third Year is about putting your leadership skills and gifts into action. You graduate at the end of each year, so you can attend one, two, or all three years.
No. You graduate at the end of each school year, so you are welcome to attend one, two, or three years.
The minimum age for on-campus school is 18. Exceptions are made periodically. There is no maximum age.
On-campus school starts in the fall (September). There is no spring start. BSSM Online offers rolling enrollment with start dates in Fall (September) and Winter (January).
Yes. Visiting is available Monday through Thursday, 12:00 to 3:45pm, up to four days per school year. First Year and Second Year are held at 933 College View, Redding, CA.

BSSM Online brings the full school experience to you wherever you are in the world. Same content, same Revival Groups, same community — at around 11–12 hours per week part-time or 20–22 hours full-time. Available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Absolutely. BSSM Online has students from over 100 countries. Sessions are available across multiple time slots to accommodate different time zones.
Revival Groups are smaller, live cohorts where you pray, practice activating the gifts of the Spirit, and grow alongside a consistent group of people throughout the year. They are the heartbeat of the BSSM community experience and the one session that requires live attendance.
Immersion Week is an optional opportunity for Online School students to come to Redding, California, for a week of in-person encounter, joining the wider BSSM community face-to-face.
Financial Aid is not qualified for state funding. However, we do have a limited number of scholarships that you may qualify for. Email contact@bssm.net for more information.
Tuition covers all classes and books, and Retreat. It does not cover housing, food, or mission trips.
Application fees and deposits are not refundable or transferable. For questions, contact the finance department through your student portal at my.bssm.net.
BSSM does not provide or manage housing. A housing guide is available at bssm.net/redding/housing, including information about dorms at Simpson University.
It is not too late for you. We see people come to BSSM at every stage of life, including those with careers, families, and full lives. This is not about starting over. It is about what happens when you make space for more of Jesus right in the middle of your full life.
Yes. All on-campus students are required to go on a mission trip, usually in March or April. The cost is not included in tuition. Choose from around 80 to 100 trips, both locally within the USA and globally.
