International Student Events 2024-2025

International students represent their countries through displays, handouts and samples of their cuisine. A picture of heaven, the Festival of Cultures showcases what the nations look like when they are redeemed! By participating in this event, students stir up their love for their own country and give visitors a chance to learn about their lands. Pre-purchase your tickets to save money at the door!

The Concert of the Nations is an opportunity for international students to perform something from their own country: a song, dance, skit, or instrumental music presentation. Students will be emailed more information regarding details and sign-ups closer to the event date.

When going to a new country, most people prepare themselves for the different culture, climate, food and people they are about to encounter. Very few people prepare themselves for going back home, but they should. This event helps international students prepare to repatriate and to do so with joy. This event is free to all internationals. Refreshments are served.

This is an informal meeting for international families with children to meet with other families and get information that is helpful to them as parents. For more information, please email Pam Spinosi at bssm.international@bethel.com.

Each year, we hold an orientation for international students at the Bethel Twin View Campus (936 Twin View Blvd, Redding, CA). At our orientation, you will have the opportunity to sign up for a bank account, learn about U.S. traffic laws, and get information about the bus system and other important aspects of life in Redding. Refreshments will be provided. *Please note that this does not replace your BSSM orientation.

Our welcome reception is just for you (First, Second, and Third Year). We have designed this beautiful dessert reception with live international music to warmly and officially welcome you to the U.S. We cannot wait to see you there!
